Meaning behind the Stitches
My grandmother taught me how to knit and crochet when I was a kid. Originally, we made scarves together. When I got to my teenage years, it became stress relief, and by the time I got to college, I had left it behind. Liv Out Loud Handmade is my return to the fiber arts that once got me through tough times and connected me to my grandmother in unspoken ways. It’s helped me tap back into my creative side and take my mind off the stress of constantly adulting.
